ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS



A.    Adjective and adverb
            An adjective is a set of words that describes a noun or pronoun, and an adverb is a set of words that modifies verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adverbs answer how, when, where, why, or to what extent—how often or how much.

1.       Adjective (1) :
·         Cute baby
·         Nice work
·         Old coat
·         Wet floor
·         Trendy shoes

2.      Adjective (2) :
·         That’s an elegant black watch
·         Good young boy
·         That’s a dark and scary room
·         Dina is smart and dilligent student
·         Shine Birght diamond

3.       Adjective (>2) :
·         Beautiful long black hair
·         Luxury wide blue ferryboat
·         The room was good enough for me
·         Small dirty smell room
·         Delicious black cocoa wafer

4.      Adverb :
·         Walk slowly
·         Type fastly
·         Study seriously
·         She solves the problem easily
·         Talk loudly

5.       Adverb of frequency :
·         They often wear flat shoes
·         We seldom see Jimin
·         I never see Milan on real live
·         I go to my grandma’s house in every year
·         She often late for school

6.       Adverb of  Time :
·         Please call me later, I’m studying now
·         I have done my homework now
·         He still in not good condition since last week
·         I’d like to go to movie tomorrow
·         The newspaper arrives dialy

7.      Adverb of place :
·         Bakir, please come here!
·         I’ll be there on 5 pm
·         I will go everywhere you go
·         The cat hiding underneath the table
·         Rahma’s house is nearby my house
